Hello! I built a power ranking engine that I can update when I drop in new data after each sim. Here are the results after sim #8! The power ranking formula has three components Power Score: An assessment of how dominant a team is, primarily measured by their differential. Road and Home adjusted. RPI Score: Measured by a teams raw winning %, strength of schedule, and strength of opponents schedules Recent Score: A measure of how a team is playing recently over the last 30 calendar days. Road and Home adjusted. The formula may be tweaked over time as I see more data.

Our rankings are slightly different for some teams.
I have Mikawa at 10 you have them at 19 I have Grizzlies at 16 you have them at 9 I have Cairo at 21 you have them at 14
I think yours is based off of different types of win/loss stats right? Mine is based purely on stats outside of wins/losses. Interesting to see the differences

Mine is based purely on stats outside of wins/losses. Interesting to see the differences Mine are not only based on win / loss. Strength of victory (e.g. PPG differential), balance of schedule on home and road and relative performance in each, RPI (which includes opponents winning %), and recent play (last 30 days is weighted more heavily). This is why Mikawa hasn't bounced up as fast on mine as they have on yours, because they haven't sustained their recent success for that long yet. I haven't included pace or off/deff efficiency directly, which is something I might build into the model for next year.
