Name: Milos Vujanic
Position: Point Guard, Shooting Guard
Number: 13, 18
DOB: Nov. 13, 1980
Age when drafted: 21
College: N/A
Hometown: Loznica, Serbia
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 187
STRENGTHS:
Vujanic is a guy many called on to join the NBA's ranks for years, but never did. He opted to stay in Europe and tear it up in Serbia, Spain, Greece, Russia, and Turkey. He was a key part of that Yugoslavian national team that knocked out the U.S. in the FIBA World Cup in 2002. Vujanic was a terrorizing scorer from mid-range and three-point land, but also showed some ability to mix it up inside. He more closely resembles a 2-guard than a 1 because of his scoring instincts. He averaged 26 ppg for Belgrade Partizan one year. Vujanic can also be pesky on defense, hovering around 1.5 steals per 36 minutes.
WEAKNESSES:
As great as Vujanic was in Europe, he would've struggled in the NBA game because of limited athleticism and a lack of PG skills. Vujanic does not create well for others and should not be a primary ball handler on a team because he's not going to be a superstar scorer in the pro's. Defensively, Vujanic can be a step slow sometimes, but always works hard. Overall, what you have is a guy with a superstar mindset who will need to adjust to becoming a role player off a team's bench.
