Name: Jannero Pargo

DOB: October 22, 1979
Age when drafted: 22
College: Arkansas
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Height: 6'1"

STRENGTHS:
Jannero Pargo is a good guy to bring off your bench as a fifth guard. He bounced around the NBA quite a bit, but find a niche for two years as Chris Paul's backup on the Hornets. He's a good 3-point shooter and is fairly streaky, so once in a blue moon he'll get hot and might win you a game. Pargo plays very well next to ball dominant guards or forwards, although he isn't afraid to run the show on his own. He's also a very reliable free throw shooter and likes to mix it up in the passing lanes. Finally, he's pretty quick, which is his only athletic advantage at the next level.
WEAKNESSES:
Pargo isn't a traditional PG. He doesn't create well for others or himself, and is most of the time best utilized as a spot-up shooter. Unfortunately, he's low efficiency and needs a few shots to warm up, so he's probably too high usage for his role. Due to Pargo's small size, he struggles to attack the basket (career 48% around the rim), but also struggles to guard bigger PGs. He has a decent vertical leap, but is weak and not a good finisher. Pargo bounced around a lot, which makes you wonder why teams didn't want to hold onto him.
SIGNIFICANT INFO:
Has played for 8 NBA teams, 2 D League teams, and 2 international teams
Younger brother, Jeremy, is probably better than him (and not in the NBA)
