Name: Arvydas Macijauskas
Position: Shooting Guard
Number: 6, 7
DOB: Jan. 19, 1980
Age when drafted: 22
College: N/A
Hometown: Klaipeda, Lithuania
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 214
STRENGTHS:
Arvydas Macijauskas makes his money with his shooting. Although he saw a poor 19-game stint in the NBA that culminated with his release, he had an outstanding European career. He shot 40% from deep in the Euroleague in the years after he was drafted and was generally considered a superstar. He even had his jersey retired by Neptunas Klaipeda. Macijauskas is an incredible free throw shooter as well. He routinely hovered around 90% for his career.
WEAKNESSES:
Macijauskas is a hot head, for one, which is not something you want from a role playing 3-point shooter. On offense, he's hindered by his weight and might struggle to take ABCA players off the dribble. He's also limited by his leaping ability, which means that he will likely have no successful offense anywhere close to the rim. Macijauskas is short for a SG at 6'4", but cannot play the point because of a shaky handle and questionable passing skills. On defense, he is almost worthless, since he is slow, pudgy, and weak.
