Game 1: @tor 109 Fub 108 L
Tough loss on the road. We managed to commit 29 TOs, so I'm surprised the game was even this close. Lou Hudson did what most good SGs tend to do, which is torch us. He had 36 points on 13/20 shooting as well as 6 rebounds and 6 steals. isiah almost had a triple double with 21 points 9 rebounds 12 assists. Overall, a quality loss. Toronto looks to be one of the best teams in the league.
Game 2: Fub 127 @mil 118 W
Good to see us get a road win. The Isiah/Green/Clarkson carried us this game, all over 20 points, while Zidek and Nater both provided double digit rebounds. We managed to limit our TOs in this one, only committing 10. Much better than the 29 committed in the previous game. Isiah won POG with 22 points 5 rebounds 16 assists and 3 steals.
Game 3: @min 126 Fub 116 L
Didn't play well at all in this one. Got murdered with TOs, losing the TO battle 22 to 9. Minnesota had 22 more shots than us, despite us winning the rebounding battle. So far it looks like that we have a TO problem against good teams. Isiah still managed 33 points 10 assists and a steal. As with Toronto, can't complain too much about this loss. We didn't play well, and lost a reasonably close game to a good team on the road.
Game 4: @fub 119 LAL 109 W
I was surprised that the Lakers are this bad, because the team looks solid on paper. Won this game despite committing 20 plus turnovers for the third time this sim. Isiah had 24 points 20 assists 3 steals while Dray Green contributed 22 points 13 rebounds 5 assists and 3 blocks. Finally Cartwright kicked in 15 points in 19 minutes, and really seems to be the scoring that I was missing last year.
Game 5: Fub 103 TEL 89 W
Big defensive game for us, holding Tel Aviv under 40%FG. It always feels nice beating Maccabi as they've been the class of the division for a while now. Isiah once again won POG, providing 23 points 7 rebounds 10 assists and 3 steals. Nater (22/15) and Zidek (15/12) both had double-doubles, while Green had a measly 9 points in 42 minutes.
Game 6: @sfh 119 Fub 115 L
Would have been nice to win this one, I'm not 0-2 against the team I'll be fighting the division for. The good news in this one is that Green was limited to only 5 minutes because of an injury, so the 4 point loss looks a little better. Isiah torched CP3 for 41 points, which is probably the only reason this game was close. James Jones had 17 points 6 rebounds 4 assists filling in for Dray, don't think he's a viable starter if Greeen goes done for any longer periods though.
Game 7: @fub 111 Sea 95 W
Another team that looks solid on paper but has been pretty bad so far. Saw that they just traded Ewing for Joe Johnson which should help them out a lot. No one played particularly well in this one, and we only attempted 6 FTs. Isiah continued the steak of POG awards 18 points 16 assists 4 rebounds and 5 steals. We managed to limit our turnovers again in this one, committing only 11 TOs in the game.
Game 8: @chi 115 Fub 93 L
A pretty bad loss here. No one played particularly well and Horford (31 points 14 rebounds 2 steals 3 blocks) absolutely tore up Nater (18 minutes 5 fouls 2 points 2 rebounds 3 turnovers). Unsurprisingly, we lost the turnover battle 22 to 11. This has been a consistent theme in our losses. We also had one of our worst shooting games of the year, shooting under 40%
Game 9: @fub 109 SFH 94 W
A much needed win against a divisional opponent. Isiah (24 points 5 rebounds 13 assists 6 steals) destroyed CP3 (5 points 4 rebounds 14 assists) which really helped secure the win. An injured Dray Green kicked in 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Zidek provided 19 points 11 rebounds on a pretty bad (6/19) shooting night.
For the sim averages:
Isiah Thomas 25.7ppg 4.6rpg 12.1apg 2.7spg 2tpg 51.1%FG
Dray Green 15.3ppg 8.4rpg 4.1apg 1.4spg 2.5tpg 47.6%FG
