Here's my review of the "top 10" players according to the draft list.
1. Julius Irving
Looks like Grant Hill in ABCA Legends. Seriously, almost the exact player with even slower QKN. Not sure that's a good sign for the league if your "best" player is Grant Hill.
2. Sergei Belov
Built like a combo guard with superstar offense and lockdown defense. The downside is that he isn't a PG unless you're OK with 4+ TOPG. I can see 22/6/6, though.
3. Harry Gallatin
Almost the perfect franchise player, but about 10 years too old. He'll probably be as good as Earl Monroe in ABCA Legends two seasons ago. In other words, he's probably not worth a first nor second rounder, since his statistical "value" will come at a cost of wins.
4. George Mikan
The prize of the league. Seriously, not a single weakness and at the perfect age to get the 'max' contract from the creation draft that will continue all the way through his prime!
5. Radivoj Korac
The perfect secondary prize after George Mikan. In his prime, he provides a little of everything you want in a dominant big man except shot blocking.
6. Walt Frazier
A star PG you can build your team around, but GMs will need to ask themselves if he's worth building around considering he's right in his prime and has maybe two seasons of superstar play left. I envision 23/8/5 for until age 30, then a slow decline into more borderline allstar play afterwards.
7. Scott Williams
Probably the most curious addition to the list considering his only value is defense and athleticism. A team hoping to take advantage of his talent will need his development to go perfectly in order to justify this pick anywhere in the top 10.
8. Charles Gonzalez
Another player directly in his prime, but probably nowhere near as valuable as he's rated. A guy who'll probably have issue scoring more than 15PPG, provides solid passing but with sloppy handles, and his biggest asset is perimeter defense. In other words, he's not a guy you want to build a team around!
9. Mirza DelibaĊĦic
An unbelievable scorer who provides top-tier shooting with great perimeter defense and an awesome athletic package. Realistically, he's worthy of being in contention for a top 3 pick in the draft. Aged 28, he's yet another player who is in his prime, so a team drafting him needs to put pieces around him quickly to take advantage of the skills. Still, who wouldn't mind a guy who provides Allan Houston scoring with combo guard handling and passing plus stellar defense. Probably the guy most likely to win the 3pt contest and dunk contest.
10. Chris Fowler
Pretty much a poor Charles Gonzalez who in time may develop into a working man's Gonzalez. Still, a rebuilding team may want to take a chance on him in the mid-lottery or late 1st round if they decide to go the rebuild route.
