- Top 5 Ball Thieves (steals)
Sim Six Individual Statistics
Sim Six Top Scorers
Kevin McHale (Olympiacos BC) - 40.2 Point Per Game
- Well it seems Kevin McHale didn't like us questioning whether or not he is the best scorer in the league because he came back for his #1 spot this sim with a vengeance. Once again he scored at least 30 points in every game this sim but what separated this sim from his past outings was two 49 point games as well as a third monstrous game where he hit 40 against Brazil. Back to those 49 point games, they came against Mikawa in a loss and Cairo in a win. The Cairo one is more impressive though on multiple Someone taking a combined 85 shots in two games is a bit insane but if he keeps performing like this then I doubt the Piraeus GM will be complaining much.
Kevin Garnett (Timberwolves) - 32.8 Points Per Game
- Kevin Garnett finally makes his debut on these rankings and I'm surprised he took this long to do it. But he made sure to make his first appearance memorable because 32.8 PPG over 6 games is just a killer performance. He fell below 30 points twice this sim as he only gave his team 27 as they faced off against Bamberg in the final game of the sim & 21 in a loss to Perth. Outside of that his point totals in every game were 31, 38, 40, and 40 for the Timberwolves. His best game would have to be his 40 point outing against Belgrade in victory.
Pau Gasol (Knicks) - 30.1 Points Per Game
- After falling to #5 last sim and sitting at #2 the sim before that, Pau Gasol finds himself somewhere in the middle this time around. Averaging 30.1 PPG this sim, he led his team to a 7-1 performance after helping them win their 15 games before that. It seemingly came at the expense of his rebounding but he was unstoppable on the offensive end. He had 32+ in five of his first six games with a 21 point outing somewhere between those and then a 12 point outing the game after that stretch before bouncing back into shape with his best performance of the sim, a 41 point game where he went 18 of 21 against the Warriors.
Anthony Davis (Flamengo) - 28.6 Points Per Game
- AD once again lands in the #4 spot this sim with a nearly identical scoring average this sim as the last. Up from 28.4 PPG last sim, he kept his team a game above .500 with a 28.6 PPG performance this time around. He managed to get above 20 points all but once in this sim with a 18 point outing against Buenos Aires. Outside of that game he never got below 23 points in any game and had 3 games above 30 points through the sim. That includes two 35 point games and most impressive a 36 point performance which helped his team fend off the Fubon Braves.
Shaquille O'Neal (Olimpia) - 28.4 Points Per Game
- Shaq cooled down a bit (if you can call it that) but his team sure didn't. Off the back of a 28.4 PPG performance from their star center, Olimpia were able to walk away with a 4-1 sim this time around. Shaq carried his team to victory by hitting the 20 point mark in every game and hitting the 30 point mark three different times. You'd have to say his best outing came in defeat as he put up 33 points against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sim Six Top Passers
John Stockton (Knicks) - 13.4 Assist Per Game
- Stockton finds himself atop the pack as the #1 passer in the league for two straight sims now. Last time around it was by averaging 12.6 APG but this time he went even further with an impressive 13.4 APG sim. At his best he gave his team 18 assist in a game against the Lakers that saw him also score 23 points.
Guy Rodgers (Mikawa) - 12.0 Assist Per Game
- Guy makes his way back onto the list with a strong 12 APG outing. He did this by only falling below 10 assist in a single game and gave his best performance when he put up 15 assist in a huge victory against Piraeus.
Isiah Thomas (Fubon Braves) - 11.1 Assist Per Game
- Isiah Thomas once again falls in the #3 spot by putting up 11.1 APG through the sim. I hear his coach isn't happy with all the shots he's taking so once they see this passing performance they should be pleased. His best night was funnily enough in a loss to the Southern Tigers where he had 17 assist.
Tony Parker (Jazz) - 11.0 Assist Per Game
- We've seen TP on these rankings as a scorer but for the first time to my knowledge he makes his way onto the list as one of the sim's top passers. He had his best outing this sim when his team defeated the Grizzlies and he gave them 14 assist on that night.
Rod Strickland (KK Cibona) - 10.0 Assist Per Game
- Another new face to close out the rankings, we've got Rod Strickland who played above his averaged by nearly 2 APG with his performance this sim. His team hasn't performed well but that hasn't stopped him from distributing the ball picking up at least 10 assist in every game but 2 this sim. His best night much like Isiah Thomas was his 17 assist night against the Celtics.
Sim Six Top Rebounders
Kevin McHale (Olympiacos) - 12.8 Rebound Per Game
- I talked about McHale's improved rebounding potentially coming at the expense of his scoring last sim but he showed that wasn't the case this sim. Not only did he improve as a scorer but he was even better than last sim in terms of rebounding. He didn't fall below 10 rebounds in any game this sim and in his best performance he grabbed 15 boards against Belgrade and Dirk Nowitzki
Marc Gasol (Southern Tigers) - 12.7 Rebounds Per Game
- Gasol once again comes in at #2 but this time instead of averaging 12.0 RPG, he pushed that number up by nearly another rebound. He did have a few games below 10 rebounds this sim but he made sure none of that hurt his average by finishing the sim off with a 20 rebound performance against the Raptors.
George Mikan (Bamberg) - 12.3 Rebounds Per Game
- Mikan makes his debut on this ranking with a huge rebounding performance for Sim Six. The surge that Brose is currently on has been a group effort but Mikan could argue that he's been the most important member of that group. He grabbed 10+ boards in multiple games this sim and at his best pulled down 18 against the Timberwolves.
Hakeem Olajuwon (Aoshen) - 11.3 Rebounds Per Game
- Hakeem moves over from the BPG ranking and makes his first appearance as one of the sim's top rebounders this season. He got banged up doing it but he pushed Beijing to a .500 sim with a consistently great rebounding at his best he grabbed 15 boards against Moscow CSKA to give his team the win.
Anthony Davis (Flamengo) - 11.3 Rebounds Per Game
- Closing out this list is Anthony Davis who also made an appearance in the top 5 scorers this sim as well. The Flamengo have struggled this season with rebounding so whenever Davis boards like this it is a welcomed addition for this team. He had his best performance in a huge game against Fubon when he grabbed 16 boards and he also scored 36 point.
Sim Six Top Shot Blockers
Bill Russell (Mikawa) - 5.3 Blocks Per Game
- I assumed that I had entered something wrong when I saw this BPG number for Bill Russell this sim and even though I know it's correct I still can't believe the amount of shots he blocked this sim. He had no less than 3 blocks in every game this sim and at his blocked 8 which was made even more impressive by his single foul in that game against Chicago.
Dikembe Mutombo (Olympiacos) - 4.2 Blocks Per Game
- The top shot blocker from last sim comes in at #2 this time around but while his numbers went down a bit, there was still quite a bit of finger waving in Piraeus. While not as consistent as the #1 on this list, his highs were just as impressive with a 8 block game against IStanbul being his best.
Ben Wallace (Maccabi) - 4.0 Blocks Per Game
- Big Ben is a name that surprisingly hasn't been on this list yet but that ends this sim with a huge 4 BPG sim. Maccabi has been quietly heating up and Ben has been a huge part of that especially this sim blocking no fewer than 3 shots in every game. At his best he swatted 5 of BA's shots while picking up 0 fouls.
Joel Embiid (Bulls) - 3.8 Blocks Per Game
- A somewhat consistent presence on this list, Joel Embiid comes in at 4th this sim with 3.8 BPG for the sim. He never fell below 2 blocks in any game this time out and when he was at his best he knocked back 7 shots against Mikawa in defeat.
Karl-Anthony Towns (Titans) - 3.1 Blocks Per Game
- Once again we finish a list off with a new face and this time it's the young Titan coming in at #5 of all shot blocker this sim. Usually we are talking about his teammate Jason Kidd in these articles but after blocking at least one shot in every game this sim he put the spotlight on himself. In his best performance he blocked 6 shots in a loss to Madrid.
Sim Six Top Ball Thieves (Steals)
Guy Rodgers (Mikawa) - 4.3 Steals Per Game
- Another list that is topped by a member of Mikawa's Eurasian leading team. For the first time in at least 3 sims we've got a new #1 steals guy as Stockton is replaced by Guy Rodgers who had some amazing steal games this time out. At the top of that list is probably his TWO 8 steal nights one which was against Piraeus in that big Eurasian game I talked about earlier and the other against a tough Warriors team which also ended in victory for Mikawa.
Isiah Thomas (Fubon Braves) - 3.0 Steals Per Game
- Isiah Thomas makes his way back onto this ranking with an impressive defensive performance. Between his passing this sim & his steals, Thomas showed the league why he is still super valuable. He had his best performance to close the sim with 7 steals against Beijing Aoshen in a win.
Chris Paul (Regal FC) - 2.9 Steals Per Game
- CP3 has fallen off of my radar a bit since moving away from the Celtics but he reminds people this sim why he's one of the league's top defenders with a strong steal performance throughout. Right around his average, he snatched at least 2 steals in every game with his two 4 steal games (ironically both losses) against Boston and Maccabi being his best.
Monta Ellis (Southern Tigers) - 2.8 Steals Per Game
- In the #4 spot is Monta "Have It All" Ellis with a strong 2.8 SPG sim. A decent bit above his average, Ellis had some nice defensive games that led to wins for his team this sim. He was at his best this sim when he picked up 6 steals in a victory against Beijing Aoshen (who seems to turn the ball over a lot).
Jerry Sloan (CSKA) - 2.7 Steals Per Game
- Starting a three way tie to close this ranking is Jerry Sloan who finished the sim with 2.7 SPG this time out. He was consistently good this sim on the defensive end but in the final game against the Wildcats he was great when he picked up 8 steals.
Damon Stoudamire (Sonics) - 2.7 Steals Per Game
- Things didn't go great for Seattle this sim but Damon Stoudamire was definitely not at fault. He comes in at #2 in this 3 way tie with 2.7 SPG and did so by having at least one steal in every game besides one. His best though was his 6 steal game in a loss to Barcelona Regal FC.
Nate Robinson (Southern Tigers) - 2.7 Steals Per Game
- The final player on this list and in this article is another Southern Tiger and with all of the Southern Tiger coverage recently its no wonder why they've been doing so much better team-wise. With a slightly lower average than his backcourt mate the two of them were a terror for opposing offenses and that was especially true for Nate in Guangdong's win against Brazil when he had 8 steals.
