3. How do you feel about training camps and coaching staffs? What do you like, what needs tweaking, what confuses you etc.

Coaching staffs conceptually are a great idea but there seems to be very little information about how they actually affect games and/or training camps. Sure, worse coaches likely means better odds the player will die and vice versa but is very little consistency in the matter. Training camp for the most part is a crap shoot and that's frustrating to people at times. I do like the fact that staffs impact the training camp but really feel they should have a much larger impact on it. Limit the randomness and make the coaches the primary and near only factor in the development of players. If there was something that mapped out exactly what it took to have a successful training camp within the FAQ then it could much less confusing.

I'll start with Depth Charts because I think it's nearly perfect. The only additional thing that would be nice is to choose the number of minutes at each position you'd like players to play versus the current option of minutes per position being controlled by the game. Sure, it wouldn't always work out due to variables but it still is a better option than currently. Game planning I've become more clueless on as time goes by. If I studied the FAQ, I'd likely find some sort of information but as a coach, there are tons of options when you tell me zone defense. Also, man to man and help should be the exact same defense if played correctly. Halfcourt trap has numerous options as well. So when I pick it, I'm at the mercy of the simulator to decide what kinda defense is being played with each option. For example but not limited to: Zone (3-2, 2-3, 1-3-1), Half Trap (2-2-1, 1-3-1, 2-3), Man (deny, pressure, straight), Help (packline, double, scramble). There are legitimately hundreds of different options for each and I am clueless as to what is actually happening when I decide one. An outline of what exactly is being done would be beneficial. Do not even get me started on the possible full court options!
