StrengthsA technician on the low block offensively, Johnson has good strength and a variety of moves that allowed him to shoot .573 for his career. Despite his physical limitations is a decent shot blocker almost 1 in 20 mpg. Played both PF and C. 6th all time in effective FG% so he really is quite skilled in that regard. WeaknessesFoul prone, twice leading the NBA in total fouls committed and three times in the number of foul outs. Averaged 6.4 fouls per 36 minutes for his career which was a big reason he was considered an average at best defender and his lack of lateral quickness played a role in his struggles. Not a great rebounder for a big only grabbing 5.5 per game for career (9ish per 36). Lacks jumping ability. Is not a good passer and has an almost 2 to 1 turnover to assist ratio which isn't good. Mediocre free throw shooter .634. Notes1 Time All Star. Holds the NCAA single season and career records for field goal percentage.
