Highlights
Auckland Breakers: They lost 3 games in their 7-game sim. Not a terrible result, but they had only lost 3 games in their previous 28 games. This has dropped them to 2nd overall, after being the clear-cut #1 all year.
Mikawa Aisin Seahorses: They went 5-1 in the sim, and scored more than 110 points in each game. They made the biggest jump from last sim, going from 17th to 10th. They find themselves 2 games out of a playoff spot, but are more likely to jump in and have Beijing or Zamalek drop out.
Beijing Aoshen: They dropped the most since last sim, dropping from 18th to 23rd. The Power Poll has changed their status from Pretender to No Hope since the last sim, even though they currently hold a playoff spot. The decline is expected to continue as they sell off their assets for youth.
Perth Wildcats: The team is ranked 12th in win %, but 22nd in the Power Poll, making them the most overrated team right now. In fact, they are barely within the Pretender ranges, but are 5th in their conference. I'm not sold that they're as bad as the Power Poll sees them, but don't think they have what it takes to be considered a legit threat.
Belgrade KK Partizan: The team is ranked 27th in win %, but 18th in the Power Poll, making them the most underrated team right now. Last sim, this title belonged to the Jazz ,however their 4-2 sim has since boosted them. Not really sure what to make of Belgrade - they seem to be in no man's land and I'm not sure they have what it takes to do any damage. Regardless, the Power Poll suggests they are better than their record.
