This is a work of pure fiction, and since only like 7 guys are made take this with a giant grain of what is Boston drinking? Anyways we now know the 3 years worth of drafts that will make up this offseasons draft (1980, 2012, and 1992). These drafts really don't compliment eachother well at all as it adds a ton of bigmen, almost 0 PGs, and a wealth of bench fodder SFs. I will try to predict the lottery based on assumptions on how the players will be made and that is it. Hope you enjoy.
#1 Pick- Kevin McHale
While many will want to take Shaq, I think his shortcomings in Legends and the knowledge that bigmen without a mid-range game don't tend to trend above 20ppg will hurt his chances. McHale while being cursed will be a big that can play the PF or C positions and will have good inside/outside range. He is a big time Hall of Famer and will be seen as one of the "Can't Miss" players in these drafts.
#2 Pick - Shaquille O'Neal
I honestly think AD should go 2, but I think Shaq will look too good to pass up here. He'll be strong, quick and able to score (hopefully). Team won't matter for the first 4 picks of this draft I believe but AD being like McHale as a PF/C hybrid could entice him to go second though. Shaq is a career scoring machine and hopefully this version matches up.
#3 Pick - Anthony Davis
Davis like McHale is already made, and not super enticing to the eyes but his freak size and athletics should make him a fun player who can be a 25/10 guy very quickly and a monster if he blows up in any of his training camps.
#4 Pick - Alonzo Mourning
A Hall of Fame player, known for his defense and for being a never give up kind of player. Above average offensive player and an easy fit for #4 at the worst I believe. Depending on how he gets made with his career numbers could be considered ahead of Davis for the better defender and possibly better player.
#5 Pick - Andre Drummond
This may be a stretch above some of the guards, but if he is made anything like his current play he'll be too hard to pass up. An elite rebounder and finisher in the post he could benefit from all the lottery teams needing great foundations and Andre can be an anchor in the post for a long time.
#6 Pick - Damian Lillard
His defense will be questionable, but Lillard will be a scorer, and could be one of epic tale. Since all the sexy awards go to the offensive players I think he goes before the Golden Griff, at least based on current name value
#7 Pick - Latrell Spreewell
I had to actually go up after getting through most of this after completely forgetting I left Spree off the list. Spree most likely ends up a great speedy athlete that finishes and has has a decent mid-long range game and great stealing ability. Could be alot of fun.
#8 Pick - Darrell Griffith
Griffith is a unique guess because he still doesn't look complete, a great athlete and what hopefully turns into a lockdown defender with a great leaping game to finish just like Dr. Dunkenstein used to do.
#9 Pick - Bradley Beal
I'm not super knowledgeable about Beals game but for what I've read he seems pretty good and should fit right in in the 6-9 range of guards that will go here. Sorry for the lack of info
#10 PIck - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
A player that should be a crazy build as a shutdown type defender and hopefully comes in with a unique skillset could be comparable to Xavier McDaniel in some ways just better defender, less scorer.
#11 Pick - Kiki Vandeweghe
One of these leagues he's going to be a star right? right?
#13 Pick - Harrison Barnes
Maybe this is wishful thinking for a crazy unique player here. Will he be good? Maybe maybe not, but he could end up being alot of fun.
#14 Pick - Joe Barry Carroll
#1 pick of the 1980 draft, could sneak up a few spots but I think after the run of bigs at the top it'll be a bit before JBC gets picked. If he pans somebody gets a steal, if he turns out as expected then this seems right.
#15 Pick - Dion Waiters
The guy nobody will want to pick him, but somebody will. Waiters has a bad wrap, but he should be a good scorer and maybe a decent stealer.
#16 Pick - Draymond Green
Kind of like Barnes this is a complete guess since I haven't ever actually seen Green play and just have word of mouth to go off of, so that's where it gets you at this point.
#17 Pick - Doug Christie
This is always the range where Christie goes in these drafts. He'll have an average to below jump shot and elite defense and steals so he most likely ends up in New Orleans cause this is where Corey will end up and he always ends up with Corey.
#18 Pick - Andrew Toney
Never saw him play, but people are talking alot about this guy. He could be really good, or he could be Hank Gathers.
#19 Pick - Tom Gugliotta
Googs always ends up decent enough, is he good enough for the lottery? Maybe? But he is a former Timberwolf so I'll lean in the direction of he'll be ok
#20 Pick - Robert Horry
This is the super stretch of the guess the pick thingy here. Lots of guys could be better with Ellis, Jim Jackson and others but Horry could bring something very unique to a team with long range shooting from a big.
That is all, hope you had a little fun reading and making fun of my complete out of left field guessing. I am most likely way off since I no almost nothing of the 2012 draft and only have stats to go on.

A big time scorer that may or may not play some defense. If he plays D, then he most likely moves up to 6-8 range, otherwise here's the spot....I guess?
