Darrell Griffith(#35)Height: 6-4 Weight: 190 lbs. Position: Shooting Guard Born: June 16, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky Age Drafted: 22 College: University of Louisville Source: Basketball Reference |
Strengths
Is being Dr. Dunkenstein a strength? Darrell was great at finishing around the rim and could throw down with the best at the time. Darrell was a prolific scorer who worked hard to develop an outside game after his first few seasons as a way to offset the loss of leaping in later years. Perimeter defense was something else that Griffith was known for and averaged 1.2 SPG on his career.
Weaknesses
Griffith while being a great jumper was never a great rebounder, only averaging 3 a game for his career. His game also never really involved passing as he barely was over 2 APG too. Griffith also for me didn't have the shooting percentages for the amount of shots he tended to chuck. He also needed to spend more time with free throws as he finished his career at barely over 70%.
