Name: Avery Bradley

Number: 0
DOB: Nov. 26, 1990
Age when drafted: 19
College: University of Texas, Austin
Hometown: Tacoma, Washington
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 180
STRENGTHS:
Avery Bradley is about as high-level a 3&D player as you can ask for. The guy is an elite defender, possibly the best perimeter defender in the entire NBA at the moment. He'll even body up on bigger players, and has in the past few seasons started to crash the defensive boards. On offense, Bradley has turned into such a good shooter that he's finally opened up other areas of his game, turning him into a scoring threat all over the floor. He gets a lot of lift on his shot and has a high release point to where despite his limited height, he can get shots off against taller players. For a Shooting Guard, Bradley's a good ball handler and will eventually give your team another playmaker on the perimeter. Finally, Bradley's turned into a good finisher. He shoots almost a quarter of his shots at the rim, where he converts 63% of them, pretty good for a little guard.
WEAKNESSES:
In real life, Bradley had an atrocious rookie season. He was so bad that I'm surprised the Celtics brought him back the next year. I thought he wasn't going to last in the NBA. But credit to Bradley, he carved out a niche as a defender, then a shooter, and now a scorer. Bradley's not a great athlete, which hurts considering his size. He's a good leaper and will be quick enough to keep up with guards, but isn't an elite athlete by any means, and is a little weak at 180 pounds. The last point on Bradley is that he should be able to pass the ball, but can't. He's limited to being a tiny, spot-up shooting 2-guard because he has no court vision. He's not a PG at all, so any team that takes him will have to develop him at the SG spot.
