Lots of positives in Portland, achieved by giving big minutes to our regulars. Still I feel we're going to come out of our two-season shooting funk this year if these results mean anything. Lyles, Curry, Larkin, and Lacey all looking very useful. 26ppg from Pierce with 8 rebounds, he has a lot to prove on Friday against quality opposition.

3-3 with about the same lineup as I'll be running all season. That doesn't bode well for our record. Coming into the season, I had hopes of maybe finishing well outside the bottom 3, but looks like yet again we'll be fighting in the race toward the bottom.
I like what I saw overall, but for some reason no one could rebound. My starting frontcourt combined for 14 rpg. Otherwise, Bias can still score, and I really like what I saw out of Harpring and Petrie. Strickland looks pretty good as well.
Down in the D League, McMillian and Irvine look just promising enough to earn roster spots.

1-4 in preseason with basically what our lineup will be in the regular season. Yao looks great as he put up 22 PPG on 65%. Looks like it will be another long year but will be exciting to see how Yao and Kojis play.
