Wasn't able to trade like I wanted to but managed to snag Issel and Milos after I thought they'd be gone. Pretty happy about that.

Pretty excited about my young core coming out of the draft.
Amare Stoudemire - Looks like offensively he's going to be an amazing big man. Defensively, he'll block some shots and his STL rating is good enough that he may get me a steal too.
Walt Bellamy - He's a quality offensive player right out of the gate and potential wise he looks like h'll be solid defensively. I look at him & Bob Lanier who was considered the 2nd best big in this class by many and I see very similar player. Lanier definitely has a higher ceiling in certain areas but the gap between the two isn't large at all.
JJ Redick - I honestly didn't need another guard but at 6'4 he's just tall enough for me to get creative and get him some SF minutes lol. I basically had to ask myself if I wanted Caron Butler or a guy that shot 49.7% from 3 last season and it became a no brainer. Between him, Hornacek, and a hopefully improved Brian Winters we should still be able to hit 3s next season while losing some games.
Rudy Tomjanovich - The lowest of all my picks but one that I think will be pretty interesting long term. I probably see Rudy as a fun SF in the future but with his great INS potential & rebounding he could also play PF. He's more of a long term guy and depending on TC, he could find himself taking Red Kerr's spot on the Nationals but we shall see. In the end I have to ask myself if I'd take Rudy + Redick for Butler and while I am a Butler fan, I have to say that I would.
Tom Gola - I really don't know what to make of Gola but he is really fun looking. Great defense, great rebounding, and really good passing for someone his size. I could see myself letting him run backup PG with Shue playing SG, and Redick playing SF off the bench. I see him as a starter out of the gate but that'll definitely be something fun to experiment with.
Eugene Shue - He's another interesting one that has the tools to be a starter for us down the line. Great athleticism, great defense, and looks like when he reaches his potential could be a quality attacking guard. I could see myself hitting him with a few passing camps & making him into a full time PG but even if I don't do that, he has a C+ PAS which is fine for me. Finding minutes for my guards is funnily enough going to be more difficult than last season.
Ken Sears - He's similar to Rudy Tomjanovich in that he may find himself off my bench for right now with the potential to move up in a weird lineup down the line. He seems like he could turn into a fun SF if he hits all of his potential but for right now, he had great rebounding and has the potential to score on the inside so he'll get some time backing up PF.
Adding those 7 to Brian Winters, Jeff Hornacek, Red Kerr, Tyrus Thomas, and Scott WEdman has me pretty excited for the next season so I'll go with an A.

C, especially relative to the last two drafts. Got Bridges and Meschery late in the 1st, both look like interesting players depending on the scout. Meschery is a good TC away from being a solid player, or a bad TC away from being a 10th man.

Going to go with an A here. Was really happy to luck out in losing the coin toss and then retaining the top spot in the lottery. This was farther elated by the ability to pick Yao number one. I will admit after the last re-scout, Maravich was looking really good but Yao is a true franchise centre and even with just natural progression should be a force. We haven't had a player at that height with actual skill since Sampson came close in Legends so, will definitely be fun to see what Yao can do even in his first year.
Additionally, we also drafted Don Kojis. Was really hoping to have Randy Smith but Kojis was the other guy we were looking at with the elite athleticism, ability to score and rebound to go along with good defensive potential. One thing is for sure, summer league is going to be darn fun.
Onto FA!

Going with a B here.
Archibald was a guy I wanted badly because of the revolving door at PG. I know this team is bereft of bigs, but couldn't pass up a chance for a legit lead guard.

Happy with Charlie Scott at #8, was hoping for either Amare or Bellamy to fall to pair with Davis but with the right TC or two Scott looks like a good prospect.

My bad, I guess I messed up both of those guys falling. But I think Scott was a really good pick for you. I had a 4 man list heading into my pick outside of the obvious guys and Scott was definitely on it.

Happy to walk away with Pistol Pete from the draft, was in an easy position to just pick whoever the Bulls didn't, liked both of them.
