I don't like to do write-ups for the voting anymore, because the votes usually speak for themselves...but I will this time. I need to issue a personal apology to the Toronto Raptors, who I royally screwed over in this GMotY voting by posting this so late. I always try to get the voting up and completed BEFORE the playoffs start, because this award should be about what a GM did with a team over the season...not an award for how a team does in the playoffs. Unfortunately, life got in the way, things got delayed and then no one voted by the deadline, so things got pushed WAY BACK. So what happened? In all the voting before the playoffs started (or even day 2 started for that matter), Toronto was leading the voting by a LARGE margin...it wasn't even close. In the last couple days, the rubes and boobs got to have their say...no research was done, as NY, Brooklyn and Mikawa flew up the charts based off their playoff runs. So again, I apologize Toronto...I failed you.
Fun fact...in the first 13 ballots, Mikawa received a whopping 0 points. In the last 5 ballots he received 18 and was 2nd or 3rd every time. I hate you all.
I've included both point totals and # of votes each team received.

On the IT side, the hate was fairly spread out by LA wins the IT award in a close vote. I personally loved Roark getting a vote while not even in the league...that's dedication to a vendetta.
