| Kenyon Martin(#6)Height: 6-9 Weight: 234 lbs. Position: Power Forward and Center Born: December 30, 1977 in Saginaw, Michigan Age Drafted: 23 College: University of Cincinnati Source: Basketball Reference |
StrengthsMartin, the first pick of the 2000 NBA draft had a solid career that seemed to burn bright and fast before injuries really hurt him. Career 12.8ppg and 7rpg. KMart did the dirty work and was great on the offensive boards and at instigating opposing players. His first couple of seasons he averaged 1.7 BPG. He had decent hands for a bigman averaging over a steal a game for his lengthy career. WeaknessesInjuries were hard on Kmart. He never played more then 77 games in a season. He also had problems staying on the court committing many a foul (3.3 career). Kmart could get to the line, but wasn't overly efficient from it only averaging .629 for his career.
