Larry Kenon(#35)Height: 6-9 Weight: 205 lbs. Position: Power Forward and Small Forward Born: December 13, 1952 in Birmingham, Alabama Age Drafted: 21 College: University of Memphis Source: Basketball Reference |
StrengthsPerhaps one of the most versatile players ever. The 6'9 forward was the perfect compliment to George Gervin during his storied career. Displaying great athleticism and balance, Kenon once had 11 steals in a game. During Kenon's career with the Spurs, he averaged over 20 points a game. Kenon had the rare defensive ability to play at a high level in the post, and on the perimeter.
- 4 x Averaged 20 PPG in a season
Weaknesses- Not the best shooter. - Doesn't have the strength to be a full time PF - Good passer, but prone to turnovers. - Not much of a shot blocker NotesABA Champion (1974) 3× ABA All-Star (1974–1976) 2× NBA All-Star (1978–1979) ABA All-Rookie First Team (1974) MVC Player of the Year (1973) No. 35 retired by the University of Memphis Current AttributesINS | JPS | FTS | 3PS | HND | PAS | ORB | DRB | PSD | PRD | STL | BLK | QCK | STR | JMP | STA |
